The hope is that Wave Energy Converters (WECs) and other renewable energy sources can pay a part as substitutes and contribute to create a more sustainable future. However, WECs are still in the developing phase, facing challenges of efficiency in terms of power output and cost.-There is an increasing energy demand in the world.
